Nursery

The nursery program of Good Samaritan School offers a stimulating and nurturing environment where young children can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Play is one of the most important sources of learning. Through play, children develop essentials such as body image as they use their bodies for climbing, running, swinging, digging, or other activities. Play helps children learn to understand themselves and others. It also aids in the development of social skills such as making friends, dealing with conflicts, recognizing and expressing feelings working together with peers to build and create things, and experiencing many aspects of community life.

We provide ample time and space for play. Much of the day is structured so that children make their own choices. Children choose the activities in which they will participate, whether outside or in, active or quiet, messy or clean.

Primary

Our thoughtfully designed academic program is based on the Tanzanian National Curriculum. It is subject to inspection and guidance by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training. The students are prepared to sit for the national examination held for class 4 and class 7. The curriculum is enhanced with hands-on activities as well as the use of technology to make learning more enriching and meaningful.

A generous amount of school time is allocated to nurture each student’s talents. Drawing, Art and Craft and cookery help enhance intellectual, socio-emotional, and cultural values development. It also helps students to write, think creatively, hone analytic skills, and conceptualize ideas. At our school, we also encourage a healthy and active lifestyle. Regular Physical Education classes and sports develop a sportsmanship spirit in our students and make active recreation a lifelong habit. Another important skill we inculcate in our school is reading through specially assigned periods in the schedule. Additionally, computer knowledge is an indispensable skill for 21st-century students and is practiced vigorously in our school.
